In an unstable state, In Wook returns home and confronts his father for what he had made him and for his mother's death. He then makes his way to Jung Won's house and abducts Ma Ri. When he tells Ma Ri that this is the only way for them to be together with a gun held towards them, Jung Won appears.

After knowing about what Ju Hwan did to the whistleblower, Jin Hee asks So Jin to perform a procedure on Ju Hwan. Later, Jin Hee finds out how Ju Hwan was cruelly crumpled to death. Shocked with fear, Jin Hee immediately looks for So Jin for an explanation. So Jin is calm when Jin Hee questions her about the incident and even questions Jin Hee back if she is satisfied with the result. Jin Hee admits to her involvement in the incident and feels guilty about it, even though Ju Hwan well deserved it. Meanwhile, Chairman Jin is terrified of the strange death, thinking that he could be the next target.

In the end, Chairman Jin dies helplessly with the evil spirit in his body gone, but So Jin also lapses into unconsciousness when she absorbs the whole spirit to herself. However, Jin Hee is not ready to lose her closest friend again.
