Deuk Pal and Se Kyung save Yi Heon's mom from getting kidnapped. Luckily, she was unharmed. Although he has a hunch about who might be responsible, Deuk Pal vows to protect Yi Heon and his family without the police involved. Meanwhile, Jae Min approaches Deuk Pal to find out if the police are looking for him, but Se Kyung confronts him about his involvement in the attempted kidnapping.

He decides to meet Chairman Bae and set everything right. Meanwhile, Yi Heon's soul returns and tells Deuk Pal that he does not have much time left.
